While Crank It Up tries to jazz up the party with its funky beats and modern look, the base game feels a bit like background noise... just too plain to keep the groove going. The free spins do add some flair, especially with the multipliers in special spins, but it can often be a long wait through a dull main game to get there. It’s got potential with its features, but doesn't fully deliver the excitement I was hoping for.

The theme aims for hip, but at my age the only hip i'm concerned about is needing a replacement. The base game could definitely use some pep.
